Banff, Moray & Nairn CC Christmas Rosettes

We have a match at BMN before we break for Christmas and I was delighted to do the rosettes again.

I asked for a colour suggestion and someone said purple, so purple & gold seemed festive enough.....and I got to use the last of my gold ribbon!

I like to try different effects so this time I wrapped some of the purple tiers in gold pillow pleats.

The club is splashing out and there seems to be something for everyone this time....we even have a ribbon for best down-stay!

The one with turquoise tail is the Best of the Rest rosette, we only remembered about it once the printed tails had already been ordered.

Good luck to everyone at the match tonight!

Spey Valley Christmas Party

I was asked by Spey Valley DTC to do the rosettes for the Christmas party next week.

The order was two sets of 1st-6th place, not very festive as it was quite short notice but I got to use up alot of ribbon I already had.

Best Goldfish in Bowl?

Well, I never thought i'd see the day i'd be making rosettes for goldfish! When a friend's neighbour's little girls asked her why you didn't get ribbons for fish she couldn't resist asking me and I was delighted to make them ......twice up and down and then once around the bowl please!

I thought i'd try something different with the printed tails so I cut them short and set them off-centre. (Caitlin and Pizza are the fish's names!)

Hope you like them, little girls!

Rosette For a Sick Friend

This rosette was made for a dog club friend who recently became very ill and was rushed into hospital. She was on a ward where flowers were not permitted so the club thought we should send a rosette instead.

Awards For Bloggers!

The Four Musketeers recently held a contest entitled Mr Dog and Miss Beauty 2009 and are hoping this can be an annual event.
Their owner, Amanda asked me to make a rosette for each of the winners....my first overseas order, these were mailed all the way to Singapore before being forwarded to their winners.
Well done to Tank and Domi!

Club Match

I got a phonecall earlier on today asking if I could make four rosettes for a club match this evening, so these were done short notice and with ribbon I already had, no printed tails as they need to be ordered!

L-R: Best Puppy, Reserve BIM, Best Veteran and Best in Match

I have quite a bit of gold lurex ribbon left over from the wedding rosette so I used it on these, along with some tartan, I think it goes quite well.

Roseisle Companion Show

These are for the companion show at Roseisle next weekend, for full details of classes, times etc. see Spey Valley's blog.

This show supports Hearing Dogs for Deaf People so if you're in the area pop in for some homebakes and raffles and if you have your dog with you why not enter, it's for a great cause.

Pink & Tartan

Using the Anderson tartan again (it goes with everything, esp. pink!) these are for a recent order....not a dog show!

Tartan Rosettes for a Club Match

These were for a club match, again for Spey Valley.

The black and white used is Anderson Tartan.

First Show Order

My first show order, this is the Best in Show set for Spey Valley Dog Training Club's companion show in September last year.

Please excuse photo quality, it was taken with my phone camera.
